Could you be a Thornbury 100 home?
Make your home cooler in summer, warmer in winter and cheaper all year round.
Following the success of our co-screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing, CATSA is returning to The Armstrong on 1 October to launch Thornbury 100 Homes.

Supported by Bristol Energy Cooperative’s Megawatt Community Energy Fund, this new project aims to help 100 local households explore ways to make their homes more comfortable, energy efficient and affordable to run.

Measures such as draught-proofing, insulation, improved ventilation, heat pumps and solar panels can help reduce energy bills and household carbon emissions. However, understanding which options are right for your home can feel overwhelming.

That is where CATSA and Retrofit West can help. Retrofit West offers free, impartial advice tailored to you and your property. They can help you understand the available options, identify grants and financing you may be eligible for, and connect you with approved, trusted installers.

At our launch, you can speak to our partners and meet local and regional traders. Ask questions, explore possible improvements and discover what could work for your home.

There is no pressure to sign up or make any decisions. Simply come along to The Armstrong for either our 4pm or 7pm drop-in session. Entry and refreshments are free, and no booking is required.

Join the first phase of Thornbury 100 Homes and become part of a community of local households taking practical action on energy costs and climate change.

Date: 1 October
Sessions: 4pm or 7pm
Location: The Armstrong, BS35 2BJ
