Restoring The Armstrong is a major community project. The total cost of bringing the building fully back into use is £2.6 million.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, £1.5 million has already been raised. This funding is supporting essential restoration work. This includes refurbishing The Cossham Hall, redesigning the Foyer into a vibrant and welcoming area, improving thermal insulation and installing environmentally sustainable heating.

What's next?

To reopen the main hall, now known as the Lansdown Hall, we still need to raise £1.1 million.

This funding will allow us to:

• Install new flooring

• Improve roof insulation to reduce energy costs

• Introduce environmentally friendly heating

• Upgrade dressing rooms

• Improve technical facilities for performances and events

• Improve the overall ambiance and enjoyment of your experience with us.
